GP Net earnings
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.” The average pay for GPs who worked for six months or more in Desborough and Hazelmere Surgeries in the last financial year was £83,136 before Tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 full-time GP, 6 part-time GP’s and 1 locum GP.
The prescribed method of calculating earnings takes no account of the actual time doctors spend working. Caution should therefore be exercised when making comparisons with other practices- February 2024
Complaints Policy
If you have any difficulties using the services of the practice, or have any suggestions on how we can improve services, please put these in writing to the Practice Manager.
In accordance with NHS Guidelines, we have an in-house Complaints Policy – a leaflet on our complaints procedure is displayed in reception. If problems arise, we would encourage you to discuss them initially with the Practice Manager either by telephone or in person.
Please treat our staff with the same courtesy and respect that you would expect to receive from them. Patients who are violent, abusive or threatening towards staff and other patients will be removed from our list immediately.
